Can you give me a 'snap-shot' of BBC?

The friends and family of BBC are people who are searching to take that next step toward Jesus. That is our goal and aim in life. In the process we worship together understanding that we have a variety of backgrounds. Our music is a mix of classic hymns and contemporary choruses. One day it will be more traditional than the next and next Sunday it will have a bluegrass feel and the next a contemporay feel. Worship is more about the heart than it is the style. We are people who worship together, play together and have a passion to share the Good News of Jesus with anyone who will hear.

Where is BBC located?

We are located right next to the Beavercreek Post Office on Dayton Xenia Rd. See the Directions page for a map.

What is the demographic make-up of BBC?

We have a good mix of people of all ages. We have families with and without children, singles, teenagers, college studetns and senior adults.

Being so close to Wright-Patterson AFB, do you have many military families?

YES! The church is approximately 50/50. Half of the church works on base. They are contractors, civil service and in uniform. The other half of the church are people who live in Beavercreek and surrounding areas. The are blue-color, white-color, medical, retired and many things in between.

What about children's ministries? Do you have a nursery?

We provide nursery for children from birth to pre-K for Sunday services. The workers are screened and are all members of BBC. For Sunday night service we hire workers who are also screened. Currently we have a ministry just for kids called AWANA. They meet Sunday nights from 5 - 7PM during the school year. You can learn more about AWANA under the children's section of this website.

What do I wear to church?

How you dress is up to you. We have people in jeans and people in suits.

Is BBC conservative, liberal or someone in between?

Our Biblical belifs are conservative. Not independent, authoritarian conservative but a healthy belief that the Word of God is true and relevant for our daily lives. We trust God for our salvation and we trust him with our lives. How we practice that faith varies. As long as it doesn't violate Scripture, then it is a possibility.

What do you require for someone join BBC?

We ask for two things. First, you have made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Second, you have been baptized by immersion. IF you have not done these before, we would be eager to share with youhow you can experience Christ in this way.
