What is Secret Church primarily about? “What I would say is that Secret Church is not just for that night. We want participants to come away with an insatiable hunger for God’s Word and we want people, when they leave, to be equipped to share what they’ve learned with others. No matter what it costs, we want every nation, tribe, tongue, and people group to hear and have the opportunity to respond to the gospel. That’s what Secret Church is primarily about.” Dr. David Platt (pastor and leader of Secret Church)
This Secret Church study is a four-part study that will cover the crucifixion, salvation and the glory of God. Each week Dr. Platt will lead us through an hour of jampacked Bible Study. At it's core, Secret Church is an intense bible study. Study guides are $5 each and are necessary to follow the study. Dr. Platt will cover such a volumne of material that it is impossible to take notes without the study guide. Secret Church is fundamentally connecting with believers all over the world who cannot study the bible in public for fear of persecution and death. We will address issues of the secret church around the world for us to better understand what Christian commitment really means. We provide nursery for babies up to 23 months. Then we provide an amazing children's ministry called AWANA for all kids age 2 through 6h grade. We begin at 5:00PM on Sunday night and end by 6:30PM, when AWANA ends.
