Flu/Coronavirus Health Information
Dear Family & Friends,
The circumstance with the coronavirus continue to change by the hour. There are many confirmed cases in Ohio and we will continue to see more and more cases confirmed. We want to do our part to protect our community and each other, but at the same time this isn't a time to stop learning or growing in our faith.
We want to gather for worship, however we also don't want to contribute to the spread of any disease or jeopardize the health of anyone. Gathering for Worship will take on a different format for a while. Small groups are encouraged to keep up with one another and help each another as you can. Who knows, this might be a good thing for the church. We can still worship the Lord, we will just do it in different places at the same time.
So with that in mind and through communication with the Church Leadership Team, below is our plan for the next few weeks. In a nutshell, everything at BBC is cancelled for March. Sunday service will be online only on Facebook Live.
Our church & community plan in response to coronoavirus:
- Sunday morning format.
- no morning small groups for March.
- worship service online on Facebook live starting at 10:30 AM.
The CDC advises that people over age 60 and people with chronic medical conditions — the two groups considered most vulnerable to severe pneumonia from Covid-19 — to “avoid crowds as much as possible.”
- All other BBC events cancelled through March 31
- Church office is still open but on a shorter schedule. We will work from home some.
- No nursing home or hospital visits unless there is an extreme situation.
Take this on a week by week basis. This page last updated March 18, 2020.
