What to Expect

It seems like we are always saying, "Before COVID...." The current pandemic has certainly changed some things, but some things remain the same. Our service times have changed, how we do small groups have changed, and children's ministry has changed, but God is still the same. We still share our lives together, share our hopes and dreams together and share a heart to worship the Lord together.

In 2020 we have still been active in ministry. We have distributed over 1100 gallons of hand sanitizer to businesses, neighbors, every school district in Greene County and more. We sponsored a food distribution in Bangladesh, filled 607 Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes, offered in-person & online worship service since May, plus more.

We are currently making plans for 2021.  We are planning missions & outreach projects to include disaster relief rebuild trips, a project to the Operation Christmas Child processing center in early December, children & youth camps, basketball & cheerleading camp in July, and much, much more.

It starts by checking out BBC and deciding if this is where you believe God would have you plant your life and energy in sharing the hope of Jesus. Bottom line - we grow as a disciple and we share hope. It couldn't be any easier. One huge growth effort is going to be through our Foundations 2021 Plan. We read 5 chapters in the New Testament each week, Dr. Heading preaches those chapters on Sunday, and we discuss and apply the word in our small groups. The goal is not to just know, but to take action and pattern our lives on the Word of God.

Here are the basics as of December 1, 2020:

9:45 - 10:15 AM Mini classes for children grade Kindergarten through grade 5. Parents have been uncomfortable ringing their children to large groups of other children, so these mini groups are perfect for your children to get the basics and have material to take home with them. We are working on groups for babies through preschool, but frankly most of our people have been uncomfortable dropping off their children in a nursery environment. I get that. So we will be working to add this after the first of the year once parents feel more comfortable. To learn more about Children's Ministry at BBC, CHECK OUT THIS LINK.

10:00 AM Corporate Worship Celebration. We offer an in-person worship service for everyone. Our service is casual in nature and an open environment for all. The music is a blend of styles, but leans on the contemporary side, dress is however you feel comfortable, and the message by our pastor Dr. John Heading is biblical and practical. If you cannot come to the church we do livestream our service so you can be safe at home. CHECK OUT THIS LINK FOR DETAILS.

Adult & Youth Small Groups. Adult & Youth small groups meet online using Zoom and  a few meet in person at the church. To learn more about small groups, CHECK THIS OUT. Youth group meets in-person on Sunday nights. CHECK OUT THE YOUTH PAGE FORMORE DETAILS.
