What to Expect
At Beavercreek Baptist Church you will discover a warm group of real people dedicated to following our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. From the moment you walk up to the building you can expect…
Sunday morning small groups at 9:15 AM followed by Worship Celebration at 10:30 AM.
'Meet & Greet' with snacks right after morning service every 3rd Sunday for you to get to know the church and its leaders better.
A Warm Greeting
You can expect to be greeted at the door by a friendly greeter who will guide you to wherever you need to go. No matter what question you might have just ask. Our greeters are there to help you get settled and comfortable.
You can expect to find people dressed in a way that is comfortable for them. BBC is a 'come-as-you-are' church. We have people who wear suits, dresses, jeans and shorts. The senior pastor likes to wear a sport coat and jeans but he isn't a fan of ties.
Safe and secure childcare
You can expect your children to be handled with care as a precious gift. Children, birth through Kindergarten, are invited to come to the children's wing for focused activities just for them. All preschool/children's workers are interviewed and must pass a background search to qualify to take care of your children. Please check-out the Children's Page for more details. Learn More
Kid's Life Worship
Kid's Life Worship (KLW) is for children age 3 through grade 5. The preschool children start the service in KLW. Children in grades 1 - 5 start in the worship service and participate in the music, but about half way through the service theya re dismissed to KLW for the remainder of the service. This gives them about 15 minutes or so to experience worship with their family and the rest of the time learning at their level.
Expect to be a part of something. Expect for people to reach out to you in love. Expect to be invited to join our family and the many ministries that we offer.
You can expect the worship music to be a blend of church traditions. Our music style is a blend of music but we lean to the contemporary side most of the time. We are not super loud, concert type of contemporary, but a style where all can sing and worship through music. With church music these days it can be really hard for men to sing because the songs are so high. We strive to sing in a way where all can participate regardless of musical ability.
The Bible tells us to speak the truth in love. The Bible is God’s truth. You can expect the pastor's messages to be Biblically based and applicable to real life. You can expect small group Bible studies that handle the Word of God in a way that is honoring to the Lord but we don't skip 'the hard issues.' Listen
