Basketball Camp 2021
We are now registering for the 2021 Basketball Camp. YEH! Not counting 2020, this will be our 8th season of bball camp. Kids will learn great basketball skills and some Bible as well. That's right, . . . . I said Bible.
Our basketball camp is different. We combine a high quality basketball camp with what we used to call Vacation Bible School. Two stations of camp will be a Bible character teaching along with a "How do I apply that" station. For example, in 2019 we taught a lesson on forgiveness from the Bible and then how to forgive. One family commented she heard her child say to the other child, "That's not very forgiving." They learned that at basketball camp. That is what makes our camp different, and Christian based.
All volunteers have cleared a background check and are committed to your children. We will follow COVID safety issues that are in place in July, and as are directed by the school district. Kids will wash their hands when they arrive and will use hand sanitizer on occasion.
As we have done in the past, we will be collecting items for Operation Christmas Child. This year we will be collecting: soap, wash clothes and/or 24 pack of crayons. If you want to participate, bring items to camp. This is NOT a requirement for coming to camp. It is an option to help children in other countries.
